Update. J.T.
Rested today. They turned down
some of the support for his breathing and for the most part he did well. There is an adjustment to learning to be
comfortable with this Tracheotomy. He so
times works against it. This afternoon
he plugged and had to be suctioned deep with the Cough assist. This causes him to panic some and
hyperventilate which causes his stats to get worse. He got thru it and is calm now. He had visits from Shorty, Jaylan, Cody and
Eric again. Shane , River , Mylan , and
Jackson returned for more support.
Another Crusaders Teammate Hunter Higgins and his Patents came by with a
special gift and gave him some encouraging words. His Nana, Papaw and Jacob all came over and
Loved on him until late afternoon when they headed back home. He also had a visit from his classmate and
friend Will Carpenter. Tomorrow will
really begin day one of his rehab. This
first few days will be very challenging, slow, frustrating, and tiresome. He will prob have a swallow test to
determine if he can eat and he will have speech therapy in order to help get
his voice back fully. Please continue to
Pray!!! Thanks for everything. We are so
Thankful for all the support we have gotten.
