Update. Rehab was not our best. Just so tired and irritated over not resting
only slept 15 minutes the whole night.
Did go 14 hours off the vent.
Christie and I got checked off on Tracheotomy Care, Suction, and Inexoflation
. This means he can go out of the room
to the cafeteria, Court yard and Church with out a nurse escort. Also means we can actually do these things
for him when needed. He got a visit from
his longtime friend Landon Margetjak. He
also had a visit from Micheal , Allie, Andreas, and Sebastian Bowman. They really encouraged him Sebastian sang
Happy Birthday a couple of times ( his birthday is not until December). They
had a Wonderful Prayer with him. He
got a shout out From NFL Star Micheal Bush and Future #1 NBA Draft Pick Ben
Simmons. He actually ate Solid food
Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and some Peaches. Best thing is that all stayed down. J.T. Spent the evening with his Wonderful
Sister Peyton watching the season premiere of Big Brother!!! He's looking forward to a good nights rest
and a better day tomorrow. He will have
a Barium Swallow test which we hope yields good results. Still continues on the Antibiotics to fight
the Infection. He did not have any Fever
