Cherokee Football had its Banquet Yesterday
afternoon. It was an Awesome Showcase
put on by Coach Baugh and his Staff. It
was very Emotional but Enjoyable. J.T. Was given
" The Heart of A Champion Award". He was also Recognized as
the only Underclassman on this years Chief Council and was promoted to The
Chief Council for next season. Jay Phillips spoke , the food was good and you could just feel the
family atmosphere of the Team. Coach Baugh and his Staff are such an asset to
our Community. They ended the afternoon
by showing a highlight film. They
included highlights from this springs scrimmage against Knox Halls a 5A State
Quarter Final Team. J.T. Had (3) Touchdowns. It was Bittersweet. I told J.T. Going home that I was so proud of him. He
worked very Hard to be a Great player as some have said, and even been critical
of him for??? We Always believed that Hard work beat Talent!!! That Work Ethic will serve him well. Most of All He is a Great Person!!! We are
very Blessed!! Lastly congratulations to all his teammates who also received
Awards.
